| Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, I grew up in a deeply Catholic environment shaped largely by my grandmother, whose faith and devotion had a profound impact on my life. She was once a catechist herself, and from the age of six I was involved in catechism and the scouts, surrounded by prayer, tradition and community.
Like many people, I drifted away from my faith during my teenage years, but a few years ago I found my way back home to it. Returning to the Catholic faith rekindled not only my devotion to prayer, but also a deep appreciation for the beauty and meaning behind sacramental items such as the rosary. Today, I am based in London, United Kingdom, where every By Bea Rosaries rosary is individually handcrafted with care and devotion. By Bea Rosaries was born from a desire to create rosaries that honour both the beauty of the Catholic faith and the importance of lasting craftsmanship. Rather than creating something ordinary, I wanted to design rosaries that would feel timeless. Pieces to accompany daily prayer, mark life's important moments, and be treasured for years to come. Every rosary is handcrafted using carefully selected materials, with many designs featuring genuine gemstones and Italian-made components. Each piece is thoughtfully assembled, presented in a luxury gift box with a protective pouch, and accompanied by a complimentary prayer booklet created by By Bea Rosaries. My hope is that every rosary becomes more than a devotional item. I hope it becomes a faithful companion in prayer today and a treasured keepsake to pass on tomorrow—a reminder that the most meaningful things are often made slowly, with care, faith, and purpose.
